When trying to buy a card were there cards in your hand? The max is 3.
Also was the button for buying the card greyed out?

I think the button would highlight, but when clicked nothing happened. Before that, I think I had more than 3 cards (I would buy them and not use them), and I ran into a situation where one card was above the other. Maybe buying cards and not using them is related to the issue.
